Product configurator that makes a complicated product purchase easy!
Today we had the pleasure of meeting LG Collection again. New ideas and future plans were discussed as usual and together we carved out a continued fun collaboration. More work – just the way we want it!
LG Collection is a company within the Pelly Group, and is the country's leading manufacturer of custom-made countertops and splashbacks. LG collaborates with both the big brands and niche joinery shops. Together with Cadcraft, we have developed a product configurator that makes a complicated product purchase easy!
Right now, the system/sales tool is being used by around 400 retailers, but once the final adjustments and tests are made, and a few more features are added, LG Collection will allow around 1,500 more retailers into the system. Really fun!
Cadcraft are professionals in Smart Industry and CAD, and we are good at business logic and database design. We are also good at developing intuitive and appreciated web systems. Together we have developed a really powerful and appreciated sales support system, which makes it easy for LG's customers to place their own customer-unique orders. It's extra fun to collaborate, and to develop systems that streamline and facilitate daily operations!
Sales support – this is how it works
The retailer selects the material and shape of the countertop, enters the dimensions, selects edge profiles, any holes, cutouts, accessories, etc. When the retailer has gone through all the steps in the product configurator, a CAD server generates a drawing and the business system calculates the cost of all the details in the configuration. When the customer is satisfied with their countertop or splashback, they can choose to add it to a shopping cart and build more, or directly click the order button. The system then generates an order in the business system, a picking list and a drawing for production.
