Wengine speed up Bimex's "Motala Company of the Year 2022" quote processing.
Our customer Bimex Verktyg AB became Motala Company of the Year 2022. It is probably not at all because they have been using Wengine daily since April, but we are nevertheless proud to be able to collaborate with a nice and successful company that is being recognized and honored with this prestigious award.
Bimex currently uses Wengine to create preparation templates. When creating a preparation template, Wengine helps to connect different operations with different machines, and external services with suppliers, etc. These operations, machines and services are linked to time, materials, certificates, etc. When a project is complete, a preparation template (pdf) is printed. This template follows the details between the different operations/machines and operators have the opportunity to comment on deviations, etc.
Since Wengine already had control over machines, time, etc., we were able to easily price the different parts and supplement the system with a printing function for quotation documents.
After a few hours of work, we have today released a new version of Wengine to them, so in addition to preparation templates, they can now also print quotation documents, which speeds up the work with quotations considerably.
We know that Bimex thinks the system is great! And we like satisfied customers 🙂 And we really like when we get to develop systems that save time and make our customers' daily work easy.
Bimex has been manufacturing and selling tool components since 1982 and has customers all over Sweden. Their operations with skilled personnel and manufacturing of customized, specially manufactured products are in many ways similar to our own operations, but we have infinitely more zeros (and ones) in our systems.
When you manufacture products yourself completely according to a customer's wishes, it is perhaps easier to understand how good it would be to develop a customized web system. To fully decide together with us how it will work and interact with other systems is powerful!
