Today we had a kick-off meeting for a new, very exciting and fun project. Pelly Group will replace two existing product configurators and two existing business systems. We have been honored to become a supplier of a customer portal and product configurators/CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) for Pelly Group's brands: LG Collection, Mirro and Pelly System. The choice of new business system fell on Monitor G5. We think it's a good choice, because it works great together with our customer portal and Wengine CPQ.
LG Collection – Customer since 2016
We are already familiar with LG Collection, which makes countertops and splashbacks. They have been a customer of ours since 2016 when we delivered their current web-based product configurator/CPQ for retailers to them. At that time, they were not part of the Pelly Group, which they became a couple of years later. We have no previous experience with Mirro and Pelly Systems' product offerings, so it will be really exciting and fun to get to know their products and business logic.
Wengine Customer Portal
In Wengine Customer Portal, customer service and resellers will work daily and easily and intuitively build and order items. Wengine CPQ uses SkyMaker's visualization engine DynaMaker to display the choices in 2D/3D and, for example, generate BOM lists (bill of materials) and drawings for production. When the order is ready, it is sent as an order to Monitor G5. Monitor is responsible for managing items, composite items/configurations, customers, prices, production and delivery calls, etc.
The Wengine CPQ customer portal integrates with Monitor and is responsible for the user experience, adding images, metadata and logic to create an accessible and intuitive product configurator. This simplifies the process of building even complex items, facilitates purchasing decisions and increases the opportunities for upselling. Which Wengine, together with DynaMaker, is very good at.
Resellers have the ability to save their ongoing orders, view and manage their previous orders, and repeat or build on similar projects without having to start from scratch.
We have collaborated with LG Collection for many years, so we are a little extra proud and honored that Pelly, in this paradigm shift, continues to choose to work with us at Wexer. And we are really looking forward to getting started! It is extra fun that we get to be involved from the start and collaborate early with professionals from Monitor and SkyMaker, and that we all ensure that the right system does as much as possible of what it is good at.
