Easy-to-use web tool.
One of the modules in Wexer's platform Wengine is a so-called CPQ tool (Configure, Price, Quote). It gives the user the opportunity to design technical products and see changes visually in real time. The tool has been named HAKI Configurator and is available directly from the web. For HAKI, this has meant several advantages in the meeting with the customer.
– To begin with, the tool is so easy to use that the customer can use it themselves. All that is needed is basic knowledge of scaffolding. The entire design process is self-explanatory and intuitive. It is also a tool that allows for two-level configurations.
In simpler projects, the web tool can create complete specifications, drawings and quotation documents. For more advanced projects, we get documents that can be exported into 3D programs where we can complete more complex drawings and calculations, Mattias explains.
Users can design scaffolding themselves.
In the configuration tool, users can easily design scaffolding, but also other products that HAKI offers. Examples of these are weather protection, stair towers and bridge systems. The CPQ tool in Wengine enables a faster design process, but safety is always the most important thing.
– Our systems function as workplaces, often for long periods of time. We are dealing with loads of several tons, on our scaffolding but also on anchorages in buildings, for example. We must be absolutely sure that the material lists the tool produces are completely correct and the drawings we produce contribute to a safe and ergonomic workplace, says Mattias.
Long-term collaboration with Wexer.
HAKI has a close collaboration with Wexer that started in 2019. HAKI is very satisfied with how the project has gone.
– We work with frequent coordination, which has made it easier to change direction when needed. Wexer is also good at finding solutions. We plan to expand the configuration tool with more modules in the future, concludes Mattias.
